The little town of Bronkhorstspruit that forms the point of a triangle with Rayton and Bapsfontein, about 50 kilometres east of Pretoria, is a little farming community that deserves a visit for the sheer beauty of the area and because it is home to the Nan Hua Buddhist Temple - the largest Buddhist temple and seminary in Africa. From Pretoria (N4)
Take the N4 towards Witbank (N4 – Witbank/ Pretoria). At Bronkhorstspruit take the 2nd turn off (R25 Groblersdal / Delmas / Bronkhorstspruit -east). Turn left onto the R25 towards Groblersdal. Cross the robot and over four -way stop. After the bridge (+- 2km from 4 way stop) turn right at the Vlakfontein sign (dirt road). Follow the Vlakfontein Road for 8.5km, turn right at the Ezemvelo sign and carry on for another 8.5 kilometres turn right at the Luiperdskloof sign. Please follow the signs to the main gate.
From Johannesburg (N12)
Take the N12 to Nelspruit. Turn off onto the R42 (Bronkhorstspruit/Delmas) Turn towards Bronkhorstspruit, follow the R42 until you reach a T-junction, turn right onto the R25 towards Bronkhorstspruit. Go over the N4. Follow the above directions.
