We received a very friendly welcome from Herman. He did his best to make sure that we have everything we needed and also checked on us the next day to make sure we were enjoying our stay, Beds were comfortable, but a double in the one room would have been better. Bathroom definitely needs a bit of a upgrade. The outside braai I used also needs attention. Biggest challenge was access from the car to the cottage. Loose sand made it difficult, especially carrying luggage etc. Was a good experience and the items mentioned did not take away any of the enjoyment,

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the accommodation was clean. However, in terms of value for money, the amenities (bathroom and kitchen) need a complete overhaul. A shower would have been better than the high bath. Not friendly to persons with disabilities if they should visit. The gas fridge needs to be upgraded. The big gate that has to be opened manually is heavy to operate. It is all well to say that the accommodation is rustic, but for more value for money, it needs to be upgraded.
