We had stayed at the couple cottage called Malachite. A really great Eco Cottage with a hot tub that is pet friendly. Wonderful to get away from the city to a scenic and quite place amongst the mountains. Cottage was kitted with good essentials to go about your relaxing and normal tasks as needed. Inside of cottage was more modern and comfortable than I'd thought, however the photos do show what is equipped. Hot tub and outside area were spacious and is big enough to have a few friends over if enjoying more company during a braai or socializing. Word of advice: Bring extra lights along for outside area as light for outside only reaches so far, especially is using hot tub in the evening. Don't put too much wood (1 1/2 bags) into the hot tub as it would get very hot and would stay that was for a while. Bring enough food that can be made on the braai or stove top (only), as shops are far from cottages. If you can, come to the cottages in a high-rise car or 4X4 as gravel road can be a little unforgiving on your suspension and under carriage of the car. Bring a little bug spray just in-case All in all, a great place to be for some peace and quiet while enjoying nature (hikes and exploring) Also host Vivian was a great help throughout our stay.
