Regarded as the start of the ever-growing-in-popularity Cape West Coast, Melkbosstrand is something of a village, although many regard it as a suburb of Cape Town given that it is a mere 35 kilometres outside of the city centre. Melkbosstrand is a favourite with locals and offers hours of beach stolling, surfing, sunsets to put most sunsets to shame, and the much photographed view over Table ... cont.
From Cape Town International Airport
• Take the N2 towards Cape Town. Take Exit 14 ~ Goodwood /Epping/ N7 Malmesbury ( Second Exit from the Airport) and at the top of the bridge turn right onto Vanguard Drive
• Drive straight for 26km until you reach a sign on your left reading M19 Melkbosstrand.
• Turn left here and follow this road for 8.7km to a set of traffic lights.
• Go straight over the R27 into Melkbosstrand
• Turn to your right at the first street 800 meters into Melkbosstrand (the sign says Duynefontein)
• Take the first Street to your left ( Atalanta)
• Go over the first stop Street at Commaile Street
• Turn right at the second stop street into Mostert Street.
• Continue with Mostert Street , cross two STOP streets and find us on the left at 89 Mostert Street.
From Cape Town
• Follow the N1 from the foreshore and take the left Exit at the `R27 Paardeneiland / Milnerton sign.
• Follow this road for 25km and turn left into Melkbosstrand at the traffic lights.
• Carry on for 800 meters and turn to your right, the sign says Duynefontein
• Turn left at the first Street (Atalanta)
• Go over the first stop at Commaile
• Turn right again at the second street `Mostert Street (this is a T-junction)
• Continue with Mostert Street , cross two STOP streets , and find us on the left at 89 Mostert Street
From Garden Route (Mosselbay / Hermanus)
• Follow the N2 up to exit 22 reading R300 Belleville/Mitchels Plain
• Take the right hand lane reading R300 Belleville
• Follow the R300 for 16 km and turn to your left at exit 27 reading N1 Cape Town
• Follow the N1 for 14 km and turn left at exit 13 reading N7 Malmesbury / Goodwood
• Keep in the right hand lane next to the N1 and turn left at the exit reading N7 Malmesbury
• Go onto the N7 and follow it for 18 km Turn left at the exit M19 Melkbos Strand
• Follow the M19 for 8.7 km till you get the trafic light at the R27
• Go straight over the R27 into Melkbos Strand
• Take the first road to your right where the sign reads Duynefontein
• Take the first road to your left ( Atalanta)
• Turn right at the second Stop Street (T-junction)….and find us on the left at 89 Mostert Street.
From Paarl
• Follow the N1 from Du Toits Kloof and Paarl in the Cape Town direction.
• Turn left at Exit 13 reading N7 Malmesbury./Goodwood
• Keep in the right hand lane next to the N1 and turn to your left at the exit reading N7 Malmesbury
• Follow the N7 for 18km and turn left at the sighn reading M19 Melkbos Strand
• Follow the M19 for 8.7km to a set of traffic lights.
• Go straight over the R27 into Melkbosstrand.
• Turn right at the first Street where the sign reads Duynefontein
• Into the first street to your left ( Atalanta )
• Go straight over the first stop at Commaile
• Turn right into second street Mostert Street, this is a T-junction
• Continue along Mostert Street, over two stops, and find us on the left at No. 89.
