We had a stunning time at this charming cottage,a good place to relax and just enjoy the scenery. Everything was neat and clean and the host friendly and helpful. Our 3 dogs were welcomed and the garden and surrounds provided ample space for them to run around. The local beach was a delightful quiet place for early morning and evening strolls. We really had a delightful time and I would recommend this cottage to people seeking a relaxing break. Even though the cottage is in a suburb ,the feeling is one of solitude and tranquillity.

We absolutely loved our stay in Milkwood Cottage. The cottage comfortably sleeps up to 6 people in 3 double rooms. The main bedroom has a full en-suite bathroom. A second bathroom is shared with the other two rooms (where one room has direct access through a door within the bedroom). The kitchen has all the necessities to cook good meals and the lounge sits next to it in an beautiful open plan living space. There is a really pretty fireplace in the lounge which would be perfect for cold days (we visited in summer). The lounge has a tv with full DSTV. The bedrooms have double beds, which are very comfortable, and each bedroom has double doors either opening onto the veranda or garden. The views from all the bedrooms is amazing because the cottage is set within a forest like garden. Outside there is an area to braai and play area for children. Lara was such an incredible host. She made sure we had everything we needed and gave us our space to enjoy our stay. A big plus for us was that we were able to take our pets with us - not often that you find such beautiful accommodation that allows extended family members to join.

Wonderful venue. Very friendly owners. Take note of noise polution caused by N2 Highway running past Hersham in the distance. We were very disappointed not to have hot water as the bath in the main bedroom is a stunning feauture of the cottage. The owners were very helpfull though and offerd us access to the shower in the flat. Perfect for overnight stay when passing through Great Break River area.

Stunning Place. Everything was perfect!! The kids had a wonderful time. Just loved it!! Will go again soon!!

The cottage was really luxuous and fully equiped. We had a great time there with our friends and our kids ! The owner is really nice - she told us where to go in the area. There is a marvellous hidden beach really close to the house. You have to stay there.
