The venue is beautiful and the service was very good. I stayed in the Garden units. The bath was uncomfortable and it could do with a holder for the shower and some shower curtains as well. The rooms and bathroom are huge and the view from the bedroom was stunning. Overall, I had a relaxing and lovely time.

From the moment of being met at reception there are smiling faces, both staff and other guests, as the very well coordinated team make sure each guest is comfortable and cared for. The facilities on a wet cold November weekend ensured there was warmth in the form of fires and dry spaces to read, talk, watch TV for the sports fans and enjoy a cosy drink in the pub. The chef excels and good food becomes a highlight even for the diet conscious. Once Old Halliwell is first found return trips become a MUST.

My husband and I returned to our wedding venue at Old Halliwell for our 10th wedding anniversary and it was so special as when we told them they gave us the wedding suite that we had on our wedding day. Just so thoughtful and made it extra special. Thanks so much to all at Old Halliwell - such a beautiful place to be and reminds us how we miss South Africa.

A delightful place to stay. The views are magnificent. Staff friendly. A lovely place to unwind. The accommodation was amazing - the valley suite is huge.

Good afternoon,what can I say our stay was fantastic,the managers and staff where amazing,the gardens manicured and well look after,the menu fabulous,the horses are passionately looked after. All I can say is go and enjoy, there is also so much to see and do in the Meander. We are certainly going back love it. Kind regards David K

Beautiful country/mountain getaway. Gorgeous rolling hills and fresh air. Beautiful estate with retired race horses roaming around, they even come right up to your front door. Jacuzzi in the huge bathroom was definitely a highlight for us. Room was very spacious with a lounge and a fireplace. Breakfast was delicious and the staff is just super friendly and make you feel really welcome. We like it when the manager/owners take time to just chat to us. Definitely highly recommend Old Halliwell, and there is so much to see and do in the area.

Welcoming environment and staff. Rooms neat and tidy. Love the chocolate on pillows at night. I would just suggest improving parking arrangement. Also google maps has the location of the venue further down curry's post road that where its actually located - might want to look into fixing that.

What a stunning place. Set in such a beautiful part of the Midlands. Our host was super friendly and efficient and accommodation and food first class. Would definitely recommend Halliwell to our friends
