The Overseers Cottage can accommodate up to sixteen guests in two fully equipped and self-catered units that are booked together. The first room has four single beds, the second room has a bunk bed, the third room has two bunk beds and the fourth, fifth and sixth rooms each have two single beds. The kitchen is well equipped and contains a fridge, stove, oven and geyser that are reliant on gas. Solar jars provide light so please bring a torch and headlight with you. There is a comfy living area with a fireplace and a dining table where you can enjoy your meals. Outside there is a boma and braai area. We do not supply wood at this site. Please bring your own wood, firelighters and matches with you. There is nowhere safe to park your vehicle overnight and we suggest you get dropped at the starting point of the hike.; Please note:; This is still hiking accommodation and all visitors need to hike up and down the mountain. We do not offer lifts to anyone using this facility and nor do we grant permits for vehicles to be driven up the mountain to deliver young or infirm guests.;

All visitors over 18 years old will be required to produce their identity document. (ID), passport or alternative valid identification e.g. drivers licence card for scanning upon entering/exiting the Park. A community fund of 1% will be added to the cost of all accommodation and activity reservations. Daily Conservation Fees are applicable and payable for admission and daily stay in any Park. There is a community levy of 1% that is added on every Reservation.

Deposits are required to confirm a booking, usually 50% but sometimes as high as 100% depending on season and time till check-in.
Cancellation policy
RESERVATIONS OF 9 UNITS AND LESS For a Cancellation made after payment of a deposit and prior to 46 days before Arrival Date no fee is payable. For a Cancellation made between 45 and 31 days prior to Arrival Date a fee equal to 50% of the total reservation cost is payable. For a Cancellation made within 30 days prior to Arrival Date a fee equal to 100% of the total reservation cost is payable. GROUP RESERVATIONS - 10 UNITS AND MORE For a Cancellation made after payment of a deposit and prior to 61 days before Arrival Date no fee is payable. For a Cancellation made between 60 and 46 days prior to Arrival date a fee equal to 50% of the total reservation cost is payable. For a Cancellation made within 45 days prior to Arrival Date a fee equal to 100% of the total reservation cost is payable. In the event of a non-arrival the full reservation cost is payable/ will be forfeited
