Kakamas is a rather small town situated in the Northern Cape of South Africa. This interesting town was originally built by a church and named after the Khoi word for 'poor pasture'. Travel along the N14 from Springbok or from Upington towards Kakamas. As you enter Kakamas from Springbok along Augrabies Way you will see Palmhof Chalets on your right-hand side before you leave the main part of town.
Coming from Upington you will find the Palmhof Chalets on the left-hand side as you enter Kakamas after crossing the river.
