Walmer, a rather posh suburb of Port Elizabeth with its wide tree lined streets, is something of an establishment - a number of the city's oldest families live here, and businesses too are lining up for their share of the large homes, as parts of Walmer fall into demarcated business zones, particularly on Main Road. From Port Elizabeth Airport
As you exit the airport, turn left into Alister Miller Drive, which becomes 3rd Avenue, cross over the railway line and turn left at the 1st road you come to,Union road, we are the 2nd house on the right hand side, number 25 Union Road.
From the N2 / M4
From the N2, take Settler's Way towards the City / Summerstrand / Beach / Walmer. The freeway ends at a main intersection with a set of traffic lights. Turn right into Walmer Boulevard and you will pass through 3 sets of traffic lights, at the 4th set turn left (3rd Ave. Walmer) going towards the airport. Turn right at the last road, Union Road, before the railway crossing and we are the 2nd house from the corner.
