A beautiful gem in the middle of nowhere (but still a good choice for an over night stay and just a slight detour when on your way to the Cape or back) with tons of history, beautiful buildings and gardens. Quiet and restful. Friendly owners, warm, clean and an excellent dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Karoo Hospitality at its Best. What a great spot to break a long trip. Our cottage was cosy, spotlessly clean and very comfortable and having breakfast and dinner served in the cottage is an excellent system. It was good to take walk around the gardens and the dam and stretch our legs after a day in the car. Blackie's little Boer War museum is fascinating and so well presented. The tradition of a chat with our hosts and other guests and a drink in the library/bar before dinner is very nice. Prior Grange is a gem of a place.

My husband and i enjoyed our stay very much and were given excellent service by Sheryl and Blakkie Swart. Luckily we did not get stuck in the deep mud on the dirt road leading to Prior Grange- after the heavy rains prior to our arrival. We were not sure whether your quote included dinner or not - only found out after arriving that it did! Nice to visit this lovely resort after a 10 year gap.

A lovely stop over on the way to Cape Town. Well appointed cottage, they have thought of everything. Blackie, Sheryl and Stephen are exceptional hosts. Evening sundowners in the bar are not to be missed. The food was delivered to our cottage and was delicious and more than enough. I would highly recommend Prior Grange and will definitely return.

As before, we had a very pleasant stay - feels like visiting family! Peaceful, lovely garden, and a great home cooked meal after chatting to other guests in the cozy pub.

We spent one night at Prior Grange Guest Farm and loved every minute. We received such a warm welcome thereafter everything was superb. Our en suite room was spotless and cosy. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and beautifully presented in our room. Will definitely be back for a repeat performance!
