From Durban
Travel north on the N2 from Durban, approximately 27 kms past the Hluhluwe turnoff, turn left into the P450, opposite the Baobab Inn. Along this dirt road you will pass a brown sign indicating “Rhino River”. Our main entrance gate will be on your right-hand side 4ks along this road.
From Johannesburg (Pongola)
Travel south on the N2 from Johannesburg, passing the turn-offs to Pongola. Approximately 20ks past the turnoff to Mkuze, turn right into the P450, opposite the Baobab Inn. Along this dirt road you will pass a brown sign indicating “Rhino River”. Our main entrance gate will be on your right-hand side 4ks along this road.
You will need a gate access code to gain entry to the resrve, this is only provided on payment of your deposit. Once through gate, travel along the reserve road to the lodge – about 4 kms. If you have any difficulties please contact us. Have a safe journey.
