Nice location, enjoyed the hiking trail. But: Manage your expectations ahead of time and Expect VERY rustic. Unit really needs attention. Remember no towels, no electricity. Dangerous steps inside unit. Mattresses very uncomfortable. Windows upstairs not isolated. One bathroom only with warm water system that is difficult to regulate.Definitely not suited for 12 people (we had difficulty with 6). Not entirely convinced that it was value for money- i have had better self catering experiences.

Peaceful, beautiful surroundings and the unit was exactly as described and very comfortable. I will definitely recommend anyone to stay there. The fact that the unit is run on gas and solar means an even more peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. Check-in was easy and the small shop is also great for buying the odd thing if required. Wood, meat, and general food/necessity items are available.

The place was very clean. Maintainance staff was always there to assist. Reception lady was very friendly and helpful. The hiking trail was clearly marked. We enjoyed our stay. We will definitely visit Ribbokkloof again and again.

Place is very chilled, and the lady at the counter is very friendly and healthy. The fire place in the house have been removed.

Very lovely place. Breakaway from a busy world. Holiday house is well maintained, very cozy place. Braai area is excellently laid out.

Good day What a wonderful breakaway from the city it was. Nicely done. Just a couple of things. The kettle is leaking water so we used a pot for boiling coffee water. The fridge is also leaking water and the freezer door is broken. We saw the other houses had a bench to sit on by the fire place, we only had a table. Maybe look at putting a bench down at Tolbos as well. No DSTV remote, only a TV emote. We will definitely visit again, the owner is very friendly and helpful and i would recommend this to anyone.
