This constitutes the entire top floor of the Mill House and has its own private entrance. With high open-truss ceilings, contemporary design mixed with antiques and upmarket furnishings and fittings, the apartment consists of one en-suite bedroom with either an extra length King- or two extra length single beds. The bathroom has a romantic free standing tub large enough for two, as well as a shower. There is also a fully equipped open-plan kitchenette with a dining table, and a large living area with a cosy fireplace, leather couch and – ottomans. Stunning Nguni skins are scattered throughout. The entire length of the floor opens onto a private balcony which overlooks Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards and faces the rugged foothills and cliffs of the Waaihoek mountain range. You can enjoy this spectacular view from every room, even your bathroom. Sleeping arrangements for up to three extra individuals can be organised in the spacious living area. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar and homemade rusks are provided. Smoking is only permitted outside.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    Why do I have to pay a deposit?

    This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

    Can I pay the deposit at month end?

    That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

    What is 3D Secure?

    This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.
