Great place, great people!

What a wonderful place to stay. The views are incredible, the accommodation is extremely comfortable, and the hosts are attentive. Would definitely recommend.

What a beautiful farm in the middle of nature. If you want to escape from everything this is the place. The owner is proud and willing to show the farm and knows a lot about the things you come across. If you want just to relax, wonderful appartement, comfortable beds and an astonishing view!

We loved our stay at Rico Suter. The place is amazing - so spacious and well equipped. We especially appreciated the wonderful fireplace and beautiful view. Bruno and Erika were super friendly. The wine is exceptional!

What an AMAZING experience it was! The location is far away from any roads. Arrived there and we had a very warm welcome by the Host and felt right at home. The upper Story Loft/Apartment is Beautiful with stunning views and for cold or late night the fireplace was perfect. Very clean, tidy and homey. You get to wake up and see the beautiful Mountain and vineyard in BED! Great places to Hike as well and just take in Nature at it's best. There were two Dogs that walked with us and they super friendly and loving. Erika went out of her way to make My girlfriend and mine, anniversary extra special! Thank you for the amazing stay definitely coming back!

Our stay was fantastic. The surroundings are beautiful and there's no shortage of things to do in the area, from hikes to wine-tasting. Everything you could need is right at hand to make your stay incredibly pleasant.

We stayed two nights at Rico Suter country house and had a perfect time over there. The rooms are very spacious and the mountain view is stunning. We walked each morning at dawn up the hills and the dams while one of the friendly dogs accompanied us. We had a very relaxing time in a beautiful country setting. Our host who produces great dried prunes on the farm and makes a very nice wine, made it all to perfection! A true recommandation.

We could not have asked for more- what a perfect farm stay complete with oak trees, vines and 2 lovely dogs! We all had a really wonderful stay thanks to the perfect hosts!

My partner and I stayed at Rico Suter Country House for a weekend and all I have to say is WOW. From the amazingly decorated and perfectly appointed accommodation to the views of snow capped mountains (not to mention the excellent breakfast and warm hosts), everything was perfect. Erika even baked a birthday cake for my partner! I cannot recommend staying here more - it was magical!

We had a wonderful stay! Luxury accommodation with picture perfect views, the breakfast was excellent, Erika and Bruno are just lovely! The wines are exquisite. I highly recommend this romantic city escape!

A truly memorable experience. Down to earth friendly hosts. Perfectly romantic accommodation. Erika went out of her way to ensure every couple that comes there will experience a romantic getaway with a fury of candles and for the winter months a fireplace.

What a wonderful place to stay and relax. Erica and Bruno really know how to make you feel at home and special! The accommodation is excellent and there are quite and number of vineyards to visit and have fabulous meals!!

From far outside SA we booked 5 stays through internet; it's always a surprise to see where you end up. GH Rico Suter was absolute the best of all 5 stays (others were also absolute fine, but this was no.1). Slightly of the regular track but enough to do in the area. The available room was huge, very nice designed, very clean and a dream for a couple, but as us with 2 kids it is very well organised with a bed in the living (no problem). Breakfast was GREAT (indeed with capital letters) and every morning there was just too much. Family Suter knows exactly how to bring excellent service to the guests. Great views. great ponds to swimm. A home away from home. Keep the level.

Our day away from home was such a wonderful time spent with Erika and Bruno that we felt rejuvenated when we returned the next day at home. From the relaxed manner of Erika and Bruno, the luxurious accomodation of the apartment, to the wonderful food and wine on offer - Erika went out of her way to ensure we were well fed - this was a great birthday for my wife. The wines on offer from the estate were excellent and worth buying to take home. Views from the apartment are magnificent and the drive to the top dam before we left for home was great. They have several dams on the farm and are very environmentally conscious as well judging from the work that Bruno is doing to clear alien vegetation. We walked from the top dam back to the apartment and this was a highlight as it gave me a chance to dip into one of the dams, we saw some fantastic flowers and saw very a colourful group of locusts in a field. Highly recommend this super venue for a weekend break.
