To reach the little, largely undiscovered, village of Rawsonville does mean taking something of a detour off the N1 near Worcester, about 120 kilometres from Cape Town. From Cape Town
From Cape Town take the N1 through the Hugenote Tunnel towards Worcester.
Turn left on the R43(before you get Shell Ultra City) continue for more or less 27 km
till you get to a T-junction. Turn left towards Wellington, Bainskloof pass.
Cross the Breede River (Darling Bridge – single bridges) Turn immediately right as soon as you’ve crossed the river. Rock pillar with orange sign.
Drive on the dirt road for 1 km, but do not drive past the farm house. You will notice a small arrow sign on your right before you get to the farmhouse gate, directing you to the river. Once you get to the river: Rock house I - Left, Rock house II - Right.
