Just west of Wellington - the town along the longest wine route in the Western Cape - lies Route 303 along which Bainskloof pass runs from Paarl to Ceres, passing over the Limiet Mountain en route. To get to Rivers Own, take the N1 to the Wellington R44 turn off, drive through Wellington, up, over and down the mind blowing Bains Kloof Pass and when you reach the Bush Pub, take the right hand turn into Mount Bain Nature reserve, drive through the vineyards and look for the Rivers Own sign to your right. Hassan the caretaker will meet you and present you with keys for your stay.
