What a pleasant surprise. They say you never get a second chance to make a first impression, well my first impression was amazing staff-each and everyone of them. Made to feel very welcome each and every day of our 14 day stay. Breakfast is a feast and the staff get upset if you do not try it all. Our bedroom was well stoked with all the things you look for in a B&B as well as having an outside veranda. The location is well situated with a good range of restaurants nearby.

Stayed with two colleges from Germany for 2 nights. Most impressive was the not faked friendliness with which the staff is providing an excellent service. Has become my regular place to stay when in Joburg.

This is a very nice property, beautiful garden including a nice swimming pool. Rooms are good, clean, with very nice bed and even a little kitchen. The breakfast is fantastic! So many choices. Staff is also very friendly, as is the services. We had a late night flight and got the opportunity to check out later and leave our big luggage safe behind the reception to pick it up later on the day. This gave us the freedom to do something during the day without having all our big suitcases with us

We didn't know what to expect on our first trip to jo'berg and South Africa but arriving at the Rivonia certainly set the tone. This is a beautiful boutique hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable. Beds especially. The gardens are something to see, full of birds and beautiful planting, lush and green. Our breakfast was full of choice and all delicious. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The manager on duty was Rene' who helped make our stay so easy and comfortable. Answering many of our questions and helping us to celebrate New Years at a nearby restaurant. All in all our stay was delightful and I would highly recommend staying here.you could not go wrong.

Excellent location in that it is close to Sandton. Always receive happy & friendly service with nothing being too much trouble. The rooms are a decent size with plenty attention to detail (provide umbrellas, international plugs etc.....) And we all love the gardens!

Every thing was perfect! Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms have a lot of extras!!! Rooms were very tidy and neat. Will come again!! The garden and swimming pool also clean and lovely.We had wonderful breakfasts!
