Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage @ Somerset Gift is a gorgeous cottage in Swellendam sleeping 4 guests in two bedrooms. The bedrooms are at opposite ends of the cottage giving couples privacy within the cottage. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the second room is furnished with twin beds. The en-suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. The lounge, kitchen and inside dining are all in one spacious area with an inside fireplace for those cosy winter evenings. There is a large furnished undercover patio with a fireplace/braai and seating for 8 at mealtimes so invite your friends staying in the cottage next door over for a braai. Rose has an outside wood-fired hot-tub from where you can soak up the view. This private cottage has magic views of the pastures and mountain with the river a short stroll in front. The bathrooms both have showers with a baby bath in the main bedroom large walk-in shower. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen. All linen and bath towels are supplied as well as kitchen and bathroom consumables, firewood, blitz, braai grid and tongs. Guests need to bring their own swimming towels. Uncapped WiFi is available at Rose Cottage – suitable for surfing the internet, e-mails etc, but not suitable for movie streaming or Zoom meetings.
