Hosts went out of their way to make our stay very comfortable

We had the most memorable stay at Rotterdam. The host and hostess were particularly accommodating and helped us to unravel a lot of our family's past at Rotterdam and Swellendam. The meals were absolutely delicious! Overall Rotterdam was a highlight in our Cape holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rotterdam. Beautiful room, spacious, beautiful surroundings, peaceful, warm, friendly people. We also had a lovely breakfast with a beautiful view. Only thing I missed, was a small fridge to keep our water, etc cold.

A friendly and professional reception. Facilities are excellent, room beds and spacious bathrooms an absolute delight. Will highly recommend.

Our stay at Rotterdam Estates was a lovely experience. On arriving our welcome by the owner Andrew and his delightful dogs was so pleasant. The farm is a dairy farm and near our room were cows in the meadow and we had a lovely walk around the estate. There is a lot of history on this farm which is very interesting. The two buildings when driving up the beautiful driveway were Cape Dutch and very impressive. The building we stayed in was classical. The lawns are in tip top condition and there is also a lovely swimming pool and entertainment area. We did meet Andrews wife in the evening for dinner and such a lovely person. We also met the one son and his wife as well. The dinner was delicious and the family went out of there way to make us welcome, All in all I would recommend Rotterdam Estate to family and friends travelling to the Cape.
