A beautiful location and accomodation. The tented chalets are spacious, comfortable and well -equipped including good wi-fi and a nice plunge pool. Game tours are very good, well managed and staffed by excellent guides in our experience. Access to Sambona shouldn't be attempted by private car - use the chauffeur service.

We had an incredible stay. The children had the best time. We definitely plan to return.

Sanbona Reserve in the cape is without a doubt not to be missed. If you are only visiting the cape and not going to Kruger or one of the private reserves in the North, the this is the place!! Waking up at 6am and going on Safari's was life changing - it was a wonderful experience being only feet away from a free roaming lion, 15 meters away watching a cheetah eating its kill (a Springbok) and seeing all the giraffe and other wildlife.Staff were friendly and the rangers are extremely knowledgeable. A very worthwhile experience!

Sanbona exceeded all of our expectations! It is exactly what one hopes for when booking a wildlife getaway. The service is unrivalled, many thanks to Alwyn, Bernard and all of the staff who took such good care of us. A very special thank you to Rudi, our game ranger, who shared his extensive knowledge with us and went out of his way to make our game drives memorable. Dwyka Lodge is a little piece of heaven, right here in the Western Cape. Can't wait to return!

My friend and I loved Sanbona so much we are planning to return. The people couldn't be more friendly and knowledgeable of the indigenous species and beyond. The service and food were excellent. The resort itself was absolutely gorgeous.
