In the heart of the Cacadu district, where the 160 km long Langkloof narrows on its eastern edge, you will find the historical town of Twee Riviere. The Langkloof is the heart of the apple farming industry of the Eastern Cape; the sides of the road a burst of green and red apples when in season. • Directions to our reserve are on the R62 (Langkloof, either from George / Oudtshoorn (N9 + R62-180km or PE-N2-180km- from Humansdorp 90km)
• Turn off to Twee Riviere town at the large Du Toits apple storage shed and SupaQuick workshop, travel 1,5km to Twee Riviere and wait at the Twee Riviere Minimarket. One can travel with a normal car to our guard house on a gravel road for 10km, or you can leave your car safely in the town
• From the guardhouse to the cabin one requires a 4x4 or bakkie with diff lock and high clearance to cross the river to the cabin. We are situated 80km by road (8km as crow flies) from Storms River / Tsitsikamma village
