This is very need place and we have enjoyed our stay. Friendly host and personnel. Reception by the lady on arrival who shown us our unit was very responsive. Unit is well equipped and clean.

Settle inn is what we all need. What a gem of a place! It's beautiful inside and out, tranquil with a spectacular braai area. Suitable for couples as well as families. Alf is a great host!

Settle Inn is a really homely place. It has lovely 'doorstep' appeal with the pretty thatched lapa at the front of the house and a real wow factor inside. The owners have really thought about what makes a place special and it's decorated very nicely, but more than that, there were plenty of towels, fleeces on case the lapa is chilly, coffee, milk and risks so you don't have to shop immediately, with a washing machine in case you need it. All this on the doorstep of Addo and the fabulous dunes at the Sundays rivermouth. It's a little remote, but if you like that look no further. Excellent venue, wonderful hosts. We were fortunate enough to spend a couple of nights at Settle Inn on our 7 month coastal trek around the South African coastline. I can honestly say it's the first time we have felt at home in 4 months. Settle Inn feels like a real home away from home. It has everything you can think of, the attention to detail is thorough. It is clean, comfortable, modern and beautifully decorated. With the Sunday's river on your doorstep and Addo Elephant park a short drive away I would highly recommend being based here for a few days and exploring the area.

Ons was besonder vriendelik ontvang deur Alf en Sue en hulle het ons onmiddelik tuis laat voel. Die huis is werlklik goed toegerus selfs met n drie been potjie wat baie handig te pas gekom het. Die plek is netjies met n fantastiese lapa/ braaiplek wat dit n voorkeur kuierplek maak. Ons sal dit beslis in die toekoms weer oorweeg.

We had a wonderful stay at the Settle Inn. The house was fully equipped, clean and comfortable. We also really enjoyed the Lapa. A great thing was the closeness of the Addo Elephant Park entrance and the beach. We stayed with for adults and 2 young children and for them it was a great and safe place to stay as well. Alf and Sue thanks for the warm welcome, feeling home and for some smart tips about were to go in the area. If we have an other opportunity to visit we will definitely come again and recommend it to others to.

I have used self-catering for years and all over the world. US.Spain ,Portugal ,UK. But have never found a place as well equipped and such good facilities as the Settle Inn. It really does live up to it's name. I want to thank Ian for his help, we were really made welcome and well cared for. Would recommend it to anyone.
