There is an airport 40kms from us near Hoedspruit, Airlink flies from most major centres in to Eastgate Airport. The Premier Class train run by SA railways run on Sundays and Thursdays from Pretoria to Hoedspruit and back. Car hire is available at you destination for both options.
FROM JOHANNESBURG:
Travelling by car from Johannesburg is 41/2 hours. Best done during the daytime. Take the N1 to Centurion and Pretoria then the N4 to Witbank continue on the highway and get off at the Belfast offramp. Go through Belfast taking the R36 to Dullstroom (this is the turning at the Belfast Hotel) to the right. At the next corner turn left and continue until you pass the pancake bar and at the next road turn right and continue through to Dullstroom. Go straight through this town and head for Lydenburg (watch out for the potholes in the road) You will come to a T-Junction, take the left turning into Lydenburg and look for the sign post directions to Orighstad. After Orighstad you will go over the Erasmus Pass and through the J G Strydom Tunnel, we are 8kms after this on the righthand side. Please call as you come through the tunnel so we can greet you at our gate.
FRom Eastgate Airport, Hoedspruit
From the airport gate turn right and continue to the T-Junction. At this junction turn right and continue for approximately 7kms until you will come to a 4-way stop in Hoedspruit. At this stop turn left, continue through Hoedspruit and keep on this road for approximately 36kms. You will then pass a road on your right, with a service station on the corner, to Tzaneen. Go past this and continue for +/- 3kms. Please call as you pass the garage so that may greet you at our gate. The lodge gates are on your left opposite a fruit stall. Should you have trouble calling please ask guard to inform us of your arrival.

Head straight on the Argyle road on the way out of the Timbavati util you get to a t-junction. Turn right on the R40 (Klaserie Road) to Hoedspruit. Please phone us on (+27) 73 049-7494 when you are near to the Lodge we can meet you at the gate.
Turn left at 4 way stop over bridge into Hoedspruit (R36) towards the beautiful escarpment ahead of you. Continue on this road for approximately 38kms, you will pass a turning to Tzaneen with a petrol station after this we are on the right about 3kms. Press the reception gate intercom give your name and we will open the gate.
