We had a lovely stay at the Fish Eagle Lodge. The views and walks offered a lovely diversion for the adults, while the play area and friendly dog, Rustic, offered much entertainment for the children. Grazing animals were mostly friendly, but we felt safe to walk among them. There was no fishing to be had, or perhaps the children lacked the patience! The bedrooms are beautiful and spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen. The central fireplace provided a cosy area for the family to gather in the evenings. The staff were friendly and amenable, but we hardly saw them, because all our needs were already met. We will definitely consider visiting in summer and recommend a stay at Somerset Gift Getaway Lodge to friends and family. Thanks to Tanya and her team!
