We selected Sunbird Guest House as we needed pet friendly accomodation for one night en route from Johannesburg to the KwaZulu Natal North Coast. Eva was very helpful and made sure we were comfortable in our accommodation. Our en suite room was a converted railway carriage which was really very quaint and unusual.

Have stayed in similar accommodation all over SA as part of occupation. Sunbird Guest House is definately the best value for money!!! Whilst maintaining the highest standards.

We urgently needed accommodation. The interaction was very helpful, prompt and to the point. We were about to arrive later than planned to which they were very accommodating. On arrival the service was prompt and friendly. Our room was very neat, well equipped and the bathroom spotlessly clean. Homely and relaxing. Breakfast was very good and overall we can highly recommend Sunbird Guesthouse.

Although we spent only one night and part of a day, we found the whole set up very homely and pleasant. Home from home as the saying goes. The owners and staff made us very welcome and the breakfast room and food was excellent with absolutely no complaints. We thank Nicky too for allowing us ' extra time ' when booking out as we had other committments in Howick to deal with. We would recommend this B & B to anyone needing to stop off in or around that area.. Once again Thanks to all. Gordon & Cecilia Gough
