The Forge

The Forge is a self catering holiday home in Hoekwil sleeping six guests. This 150 year old stone cottage was one of the first building to be built at Oakhurst, still retaining its thick stone walls and exposed timber beams. The Forge has two spacious bedrooms furnished with king-size beds. The second bedroom includes an additional single bed, as well as a mezzanine loft room with two more kids beds. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. There is an additional shared bathroom off the living area fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Percale linen, bath towels and soaps, as well as free Wi-Fi are included with your stay. The living area wraps around the cottage and is made up of a dining room, equipped kitchen with gas stove and a cosy lounge with fireplace. The living area opens out via glass doors onto a lovely covered deck with soothing views onto open fields and forests. Outdoors there is a secluded, open-air hot shower, dining table and braai area, hammocks as well as a private plunge pool and permanent wood-fired hot tub.
