The Stanford Hotel

Room 5 is a Family Suite which ideal for a small family. It has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed and outside entrance. The second bedroom is furnished with one single bed. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a bathtub only. (no shower). All rooms have down duvets and pillows with crisp white 100% cotton linen and offer tea and coffee making facilities.

The double room has a private, outside entrance. It is furnished with a with Queen size bed and has a private dressing room / en-suite bathroom equipped with a shower. All rooms have down duvets and pillows with crisp white 100% cotton linen and offer tea and coffee making facilities.

Sixpence Cottage is a pet-friendly self-catering unit located within the hotel grounds. It has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with a shower only (wet room), a fully equipped kitchen, a living area with a couch and a dinner table for 2 (can seat 4 when chairs are brought from the kitchen table), which leads out onto a veranda and a private, fenced in garden. The main bedroom has a double antique brass bed, Restassured mattress with crisp white 100% cotton linen and a down duvet, a vintage dressing table and wardrobe. Well-behaved pets may stay by arrangement and due to the central location of the cottage, only a 3 minute walk to the river, your furkids will have the time of their lives. Stanford itself has a wandelpad all along the river, but if you're looking for pet-friendly hikes and beach walks, we can advise you where to go. There is also secure parking; perfect for boats, kayak trailers and fully kitted 4×4's, a small braai that belongs to the cottage and a bench located under the old Milkwood tree that shades a large section of the garden.

Luca's Lodge is a two-roomed executive suite. The bedroom has a double antique wooden bed and looks out onto a private veranda and garden. The bathroom has both a bath and shower. The second room is a lounge area with TV which has two single beds. The rooms are separated by a small foyer. All linen is 100% cotton. Duvets and pillows are all down filled. The suite is not self-catering but it has tea and coffee making facilities.

It has two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower over the bath, open plan kitchen, dining and living area leading out onto the lovely deep veranda and private garden. The main bedroom has a Queen sized bed. The second bedroom has a single bed. All linen is 100% cotton and the duvets and pillows are down filled. Bambi Cottage has TV with full DSTV inclusive in the rate. There is also secure parking; perfect for boats, kayak trailers and fully kitted 4x4's.
