That Phalaborwa never gets cold is something of a euphemism to describe the intense heat that can grip the modern, copper mining town, situated just 3 kilometres from the Kruger National Park, during summer in particular. • At the four way stop street at the entrance to Phalaborwa from the R71, turn left onto Spekboom Street
• The road is tar for first 3 km and then 3 km gravel road thereafter, so keep driving!
• Tingala Lodge is the first farm gate on the right hand side
• You need to pull into the right and open the gate to enter the property, it looks locked
• Follow the farm Road approx. 2 km up to Tingala Lodge, which is the big property on the right hand side
