We really enjoyed our stay at Trewennan - Hydrangea Cottage. It has everything one needs and we will definitely book in again. Nice and quiet area with a huge open yard for the children to move around.

A beautiful old family home. One feels that many family events and gatherings must have happened there over the years. Pretty location with a view of the mountain. Well equipped. Bathroom and loo needs some attention though. Perhaps a water saving shower rose? The loo needs to be flushed a few times to be effective, a full cistern each time in a water stressed area needs to be given some consideration. It would be lovely to have a small and simple “welcome pack” as is found in other places. We arrived late and expected to find a small amount of sugar and salt and pepper and perhaps a tea bag. Simple in-expensive but important as all other establishments on our journey provided this, so we did not expect to have to buy in advance and then arrived too late for the shop. This might be considered for the future or at least a forewarning that absolutely nothing is provided. Other than this a great stay, we are grateful the owners are willing to share this space with others.
