Hosts were excellent, peaceful and scenic location really enjoyed our stay and will Definitely visit in the future, would definitely recommend Umzimkulu Marina.

Beautiful wood work in the chalet, quiet, safe and very comfortable accomodation. Definitely recommend Geraldine and her accomodation to anyone looking to unplug and relax with not stress. Look forward to going back sometime!!

The owners were not there on our arrival, as they had also gone on holiday. We were however greeted by amazing staff who assisted us with finding the keys, it took a bit longer than we anticipated but we eventually settled in... In the absence of the owners we had the privilege of meeting a family friend by the name of Bella, what an amazing women. She greeted us with hugs and was so welcoming and warm which made us feel immediately at home. She made sure to come around and say hi every morning before she left for work. She advised us about the power cuts and she was overly nice. The accommodation was really nice. The flatlet was neat,tidy and very cozy. The kitchen was fully equipped, My kids fell in love with the dogs on the property, and they still chat about them. Brian and Geraldine went out of their way to ensure that we are as comfortable as possible and that we feel at home. They are down to earth people and assisit you where ever they could. This is the place to stay during December. During the day on the busy beaches amongs the thousands of people and the evenings nice, peacefull and quiet next to the river having a braai, what more can you ask for?
