I stayed for two nights, in order to see a bit of Namaqualand on my way to Cape Town. The resort was beautiful and wonderfully maintained. My room was comfortable, and really did kinda feel like a home away from home. The staff were all super helpful and friendly! I would totally stay here again if I am in the area!

Well situated for visiting the area during the wild flower season. The resort was well organised, clean and tidy- it just makes a nice impression. The two bedroom chalet was fully equipped and was perfect for a four day stay. Can highly recommend. Its already our intention to return at this time next year.

This is definitely a good choice if you need a stopover on your journey. Would also be a perfect spot to use when touring the area. The accommodation was clean, roomy and just perfect. Room complex was small but adequate for a short stay. It was exceptionally clean. Only problem, there was only one teaspoon. Usual problem the small bar fridge was a bit noisy and we needed to put it off in order to get a good nights sleep.

Very comfortable unit with everything we needed. Neat and clean, well laid out, and the air-con was a godsend. The entire complex had that nice clean and well looked after feel to it as we drove through, and the host was very accommodating and helpful. It's a pity it isn't located closer to us, as we would love to stay there more often.

We spent Christmas week-end @ VanRhynsdorp Self Catering Resort and feel compelled to give them 5 stars! This is the closest home from home that you will ever find. Highly recommendable.

We stayed overnight at the Vanrhynsdorp Self-catering resort on our trip to see the spring flowers in August 2013 and are most impressed at the accommodation. Jasper, our host was friendly and welcoming - even when we arrived after 20:00 on a Saturday night! The accommodation is clean and well-equipped, simple but modern. Although our unit was small (the size of a bachelor apartment), it had everything we needed - a comfortable bed and the most delightful high-pressured shower - perfect after a long day on the road. Highly recommended for an overnight stop.
