Quoted rates exclude the following fees which must be paid directly to the property after the booking has been confirmed, usually a week before check-in, but in some cases on arrival.

The house has an inverter which runs TV and wifi as well as rechargeable lights for loadshedding.

Not certified wheelchair friendly however it can be accessible as the houses is on the same level (no stair access into the house and no stairs inside the house) and the shower has small seat and handheld shower as well. Toilet has a hand bidet/spray nozzle.

Final rental amount is to be paid to the property management company no later than 30 days/1 month before arrival, together with additional fees of R 1000 management fee and R 2000 refundable breakages deposit. For international guests only, the breakages deposit to be paid in cash on arrival, if local residents this needs to be prepaid via EFT.

Pets are allowed on the property upon prior request only, subject to owner confirmation.

This is a high fire risk area, please NO open fires are allowed at the property.

Unruly and/or noisy behavior will result in an eviction, with no refund. No parties or events are permitted at the property. Please respect the property and your neighbors, thank-you! No loud music or noise after 22h00 please. Victoria Bay Holiday Cottage is situated in a quiet residential neighborhood and part of a gated estate. We kindly request that loud music, parties or any excessive noise be avoided at all times, to preserve the serene and tranquil setting of the estate. No loud music or noise will be tolerated and the owners and property management company reserves their rights.

A cleaning surcharge will be charged should the tenants not leave the property in reasonable condition for occupation or if check-out happens later than the specified time. Housekeeping service is not included - it is optional extra.

Travelling with children?
Children of all ages are welcome. You need to keep an eye on small children for their safety.

How to confirm?
Deposits are required to confirm a booking, usually 50% but sometimes as high as 100% depending on season and time till check-in.

Cancellation policy
Excluding the 50% non-refundable deposit, you will be refunded any additional payments made if you cancel 60 - 30 days prior to arrival. You will waive 100% of payments made if you cancel 30 days or less prior to arrival.
