We stayed in Cabernet for the long weekend. Since booking (a while ago) I have been dealing with Nastassia. When we arrived there she greeted us very friendly, and showed me around. The cottage was nice and clean and there is no 'need' (or something that I felt they could have provided additionally). There was a huge storm our first night and the next morning I contacted Nastassia regarding some storm damage. She was extremely professional and within minutes there were staff that dealt with everything. I am SUPER impressed. Thanks Nastassia! When we booked out there was another gentleman that assisted me. Also, very helpful and friendly. All-in-all! No complaints and would not mind going back there again!

We needed two-night accommodation that was within 5km of Tulbagh, a wine estate and hiking trails. This venue was perfect for achieving our goals. So we will be returning again in the near future.

We had a lovely stay in a unique setting. Only welcome additions would be a basic Braai spice and Salad dressing basket as those are the things you forget in self-catering situations. Loved having the pets around! Even if fur rubbing against your body at 2 30am is a bit of a rude awakening😂😂.

Not only is the venue beautiful, the service and friendliness of the staff was absolutely outstanding. They assisted with my planning of spa treatment and picnic arrangements and other food items. They were very tentative to my needs and ensured that everything was planned to my specific requirements. Added to this they were on time with everything as specified. The weekend was perfect and I will recommend the venue to anyone. Thank you

Wonderfully appointed rooms, with everything one needs, including fire lighters and kindling for indoor and outdoor fires. Great attention to detail, comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen and personal BBQ area. Would recommend strongly. Be aware that the facility is some 5km from Tulbagh town, not walkable for dinner at night. Best to self-cater and soak up the surrounding mountains, although the Belgian Café and Tulbagh Hotel do excellent meals in town. Food ordered at the facility itself requires 24 hours notice, which rules out spontaneous decisions, so plan ahead. Very good value for money. We will visit again.
