Most impressed with the high standard of upgrade to Pine Cottage since our last visit. You have lifted the quality of the finishes, furniture and decor a number of levels. We enjoyed our stay despite the atrocious weather. Pity you couldn't change that!

We loved staying at the stone cottage. We were greeted by zebras and springbokke when we entered the reserve. The cottage has everything one needs. The plunge pool is great, the braai area excellent and the bird life wonderful (many birds came drinking from the plunge pool, which was amazing). We did a relaxing long walk along the various trails, to the dam and the forest. It was a lovely long weekend.

The reserve is a very special place.

Absolutely lovely! Such a stunning location and our cottage (Gum Tree) just perfect for family if 5 (including a pet). Just a couple of things though... Toilet adjacent to kitchen runs through, need some maintenance. Happy to pick up after our dog, but no place for her waste? Perhaps some sort of outside bin needed? Overall we loved our stay; the walks, the dam, the bird and wildlife (including the horses) were just beautiful. Well be back!

Peaceful tranquil and beautiful setting. Only negative was the mastresses in Eagle Cottage so uncomfortable.

Really enjoyed our stay at Welbedacht Nature Reserve; the cottage was very comfortable and clean. Great to wake up to all the birds singing and going to sleep listening to the Fiery Necked Nightjars in the distance; such a quiet and peaceful setting.

Our cottage was amazing! So was the nature reserve. We had the best time. We will be back. Some positive criticism: we were there for 5 nights. Not once were our towels changed or the cottage cleaned. We feel this is not fair. The towels are also very course and rough. Rubbish should also be removed more regularly. Thank you again for a wonderful experience. We were also delighted that we could have our two dogs with us. That made the holiday for us.

Our stay was memorable. John is a friendly host. The stone cottage was what we wanted. We are nature lovers and the surroundings of fynbos was so refreshing, especially after the rain. The trails are breath taking and not strenuous at all. What a tranquil place. Highly recommended.
