The Apartment has a large open plan lounge and kitchen area and two bedrooms. The lounge has a flatscreen TV with DSTV, and a very comfortable three seater couch. There’s a small writing desk and a collection of books. The kitchen has a breakfast nook with stools. There’s a fridge, an electric stove with oven, a kettle and a toaster. There’s also crockery, cutlery, glassware, and cooking utensils. There’s a lovely six-seater wooden dining table on the deck. The first bedroom has two three-quarter beds which can be used as twins or pushed together. It has sliding door access to the large deck and offers views of the river. The en-suite bathroom has a shower, toilet and single basin. The second bedroom has two three-quarter beds which can be used as twins or pushed together. It has sliding door access to the large deck and the forest. The room has a freestanding bath, a luxurious walk-in shower with views of the indigenous garden, and a separate toilet room. There’s free unlimited Wi-Fi internet access in all the rooms. The apartment has it’s own entrance via stairs on the side of the house. The property is fully fenced, there’s an electric remote controlled gate and secure off-street parking.

The main house offers a large open plan living area that opens up onto the grand deck in front and the outdoor dining area at the rear. It has three spacious bedrooms across two levels, each with its own bathroom. The large sweeping wooden viewing deck is the main attraction. Accessed through big glass sliding doors from the lounge, it offers spectacular views over the forest canopy and the estuary below. With ample deck chairs, loungers and cushions provided, all you need to do is get yourself comfortable and soak up the natural beauty. The spacious lounge area has a large Smart TV with DSTV, Netflix and Showmax, two comfortable couches, lots of cushions, and blankets. The reading nook on the top-level invites you to curl up with a book from the extensive library that’s provided for guests. There’s also a wood-burning stove to keep you warm all winter. The large farm style kitchen has crockery, cutlery and glassware to host large gatherings… plus all the cooking equipment you’ll need to serve up a feast. There’s a large fridge, gas stove, double electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, steamer and a filter coffee machine. The double ceramic kitchen sink has rainwater and municipal water taps. There’s also a washing machine and a tumble dryer. The indoor dining area can seat ten people comfortably at a large antique oak farm table surrounded by uninterrupted views of the river. This is also a great place to play some of the boardgames and puzzles provided. The covered outdoor dining area is the perfect place to braai, eat and entertain with family and friends. The kitchen also opens up to this area through a folding window. So the chef is always part of the party. Conveniently located on the main level is the Kingfisher Suite. The large panoramic windows provide stunning views over the estuary and the indigenous forest canopy. It has a luxurious extra-length king size bed, as well as block out curtains for those wanting to sleep in. The large en-suite bathroom has a double basin, spacious shower and a bath for two with view of the forest and river. Also located on the main level is the cozy Lourie Room. It offers two three-quarter beds and has a lovely view out over the indigenous garden. It has a separate bathroom right next door with it’s own shower and bath. Its convenient location just down the hall from the Kingfisher Suite makes it perfect for the kids. Located in the loft area above the main level is the Sunbird’s Nest. This bright and spacious area offers the most stunning views over the estuary through the large gabled windows. There’s two three-quarter size beds, a TV with DSTV, and a workspace with a large desk. A movable screen divides the living space from the bathroom area. Here you’ll find a freestanding bath, a basin and a toilet. There’s free unlimited Wi-Fi internet access in all areas. The property is fully fenced, there’s an electric remote controlled gate, a garage, and secure off-street parking. There’s an alarm system that’s linked to a security company with interior and exterior beams.
