The tight zig-zagging curves of Sani Pass, one of the most magnificent mountain passes in South Africa, ascend through the sheer cliffs of the Drakensberg, linking KwaZulu Natal to the independent country of Lesotho. From Underberg
Once in Underberg, take the Himeville turnoff.
Drive through Himeville Village for approximately 1 km, where you will come to the "Sani Pass" sign. Turn left.
Continue along this dirt road, for approx 11kms.
Go past the Sani Pass Hotel, which is on your right.
Continue for 4.4kms beyond the Hotel were you will see the Mkomazana Lodge sign on your right hand side.
