Smitswinkel Tented Camp consists of six self catering tents each sleeping two guests in single beds. Each tent has its own kitchenette with a bar fridge, two plate gas stove, sink, crockery and cutlery. There is a table and two chairs at each tent as well and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet and basin. Boardwalks join the tents. Bedding and Towels are included. You might however like to bring your own blankets with you in winter. The tents also share a communal kitchen with crockery, cutlery and braai facilities. Designated parking bays are provided. Regrettably no wood is allowed in the Park due to the Polyphagous Shot Hole Borer Beetle. We ask that all guests use charcoal to braai with. Please bring your own charcoal as we do not supply matches or charcoal.;

All visitors over 18 years old will be required to produce their identity document. (ID), passport or alternative valid identification e.g. drivers licence card for scanning upon entering/exiting the Park. A community fund of 1% will be added to the cost of all accommodation and activity reservations. Daily Conservation Fees are applicable and payable for admission and daily stay in any Park. There is a community levy of 1% that is added on every Reservation.

Cancellation policy
RESERVATIONS OF 9 UNITS AND LESS For a Cancellation made after payment of a deposit and prior to 46 days before Arrival Date no fee is payable. For a Cancellation made between 45 and 31 days prior to Arrival Date a fee equal to 50% of the total reservation cost is payable. For a Cancellation made within 30 days prior to Arrival Date a fee equal to 100% of the total reservation cost is payable. GROUP RESERVATIONS - 10 UNITS AND MORE For a Cancellation made after payment of a deposit and prior to 61 days before Arrival Date no fee is payable. For a Cancellation made between 60 and 46 days prior to Arrival date a fee equal to 50% of the total reservation cost is payable. For a Cancellation made within 45 days prior to Arrival Date a fee equal to 100% of the total reservation cost is payable. In the event of a non-arrival the full reservation cost is payable/ will be forfeited
